Wow! I visited the Pen Factory years ago for a drink when it was new but haven’t eaten there til last night. I have been missing so much!! We were going to have small plates but my friend saw the hake and clams with smoked aubergine and a bisque sauce. I saw the belly pork with Caulifliwer purée. One of the nicest meals I've had in a while. A friend recommended and it didn't disappoint. I had the special slow cooked beef, my wife had the hake. Both of us were blown away by our dishes' flavours! Lovely staff as well. Would very much recommend

Truly superb tasty well presented meal with service to match. We were all thoroughly delighted. I went a bit off piste from my usual choices and was not disappointed. Delicious in the mouth and delightful on the eye. It's been a while since I've been inspired to write a review but the Pen Factory deserve the praise.
