I found the Pilgrim quite by accident but I’m glad I did! The atmosphere is chilled. The bar staff are very accommodating when I wanted to know what they would recommend as a nice whiskey. The wee lass behind the bar (I think I heard the staff call her Court) I may be mistaken but her and the other staff served everyone with an excellent efficiency .As a Scot me and my friends were pleasantly impressed. Not changed since school / student days. Other than the jukebox, which still has an awesome selection of tunes.Whenever am in the area I pop in for a pint of Hobgoblin IPA.Can't image this place ever not being here, but in 30 year I still can't recall being in the upstairs bar!

Great Pub, Awesome jukebox and Good atmosphere.Toilets could do with a refub but it doesn't stop me going back time after time..Good smoking area upstairs ?Been going here for 20 years! Always get a pint at the best price!
