We hadn't come here for a long time due to a bad experience, but decided to give it another go after a recommendation. Well I am glad we did. Got there at happy hour, drinks for £3! We wouldn't have known if Katie didn't tell us. Katie was very friendly and helpful, she brought our drinks to our table and turns out she even knew my manager where I work! We will return again after the refurbishment and hope they still have happy hour! ?
Nice spot for a light lunch. They have a great selection of food, and the beers were just as good. My wife had the bangers and mash and it was fantastic. Great value with plenty to eat. I had the ham & cheese panini, and unfortunately, that was a “miss” on the menu. One slice of ham won’t cut it — needs to be a bit more in that to call it anything worth ordering. Service was fantastic and I would certainly give it another try.

What a fantastic place this is. Called in for a drink and went back for dinner. The service is second to none. Food was excellent and reasonably priced.
