I was a bit dubious on going into the Gold Star but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly , the chip shop is clean and well managed. The meals I ordered were exactly what i ordered. The food was hot and the portions were good. The curry is still great You can go to other chip shops and the curry changes consistency and taste in all the time I have been here it has not changed. We have just moved from widnes to whiston and our last worry after losing our GP and services WHAT CHIPPY DO WE USE NOW haha.. simple things.
