Shell
Speke Hall Ave, Speke, LiverpoolWe have been three times to Gregg’s for lunch before boarding a flight, it’s very nice but I think a couple of teething problems. Greggs are well known for their sausage rolls amongst many other items, but each time we have been there they are only JUST WARM a let down needs sorting, as well as no salt & pepper as the baguettes are a bit bland, that’s my rant over otherwise they are a much needed eating area for land side and the staff are a credit to the business.

Golden City
198 Western Ave, Speke, LiverpoolWe ordered some food from here to be delivered to our hotel opposite the airport and was very impressed. The food was hot and very tasty and without sounding too chavy the chips were proper cooked and not like the soggy offerings we get in the midlands. The only negative was my chicken and sweetcorn soup which was quite bland and could have done with a bit more flavour. Good value for money and ideal if you just fancy a takeaway delivered to your hotel rather than eating in the restaurant.
