Very pleasant venue. Good coffee, the soup was superb and with very friendly staff. One suggestion would be to turn the (good) music down a bit. Too high for elderly ears to enjoy a comfortable conversation. Maybe it was a one off. I will be back.
We were visiting the beautiful town of Hoylake and was searching for an eaterie to enjoy a snack and drink.We were actually on the way to the next-door neighbours, Wetherspoons.What a beautiful cafe this is, established in an old bank building, the original wood panelling and fireplaces remain.The staff were superb with accommodating us.The pastries, sandwiches, and especially the coffee was supreme.Loved it, and the day was complete for us. Lovely place! A great selection of cakes (a must!). Kids loved it. We were a party of 10 and this didn't phase the staff. All the order came out together and efficiently.Great decor and really well put together. Would highly recommend this place.
