Returned here after an absence of about 9 years. The food is still superb, and although I'm not particularparticularly local now, I will be returning here very soon.
It was nice to see the ownership had not changed in the intervening time.

Great food service and at a nice price.Came on for a Sunday roast, the bar staff twere very friendly and the food was very good.Food portion size is perfect with nicely layer out plates.I was also presently surprised to get a Cauliflower and broccoli cheese with the meal.When we are back in the area we will definitely be back..(Now to check out the desert menu...)

Had a great meal food very good however let down when we went to sit outside to finish our drinks to find pub doors locked before scheduled closing time of 3pm so could not use toilet or order more drinks. It would have nice if someone came out to let us know before closing early
