My brother, who has to use a mobility scooter, and I have now had Sunday dinner at Thatcher's Needle several times, and always enjoyed it. The food is excellent and the staff always pleasant and helpful. I don’t live in Norfolk but when I visit my mum in Diss I take her out for lunch sometimes and the last 2 times have been to The Thatchers Needle and I have to say I probably won’t take her anywhere else now, as this pub never disappoints. There’s always parking, the staff are always friendly, polite and efficient and the menu is always varied and often it’s difficult to make a choice, as there is always great food on offer. All was fine, service & food. Apart from a soup bowl & a plate were chipped. Not good hygiene practice & we did tell our waitress when table was cleared. Glad to see portions were back to normal. Last time we visited it was half portions. Which is why we had not been back for ages.
