“The hotel/restaurant is located in a picturesque rural area, right next to a 14th-century thatched roof church.We went for a special birthday meal, the staff were really friendly and attentive. It wasn't mega busy when we went, so the food came out really quickly. I had the pigeon to start and the red deer for the entrée. Both were cooked perfectly, all the food was ambrosial and looked stunning. As we were there for a birthday and mentioned this on booking, a happy birthday plate with a few petit fours was given with no extra fee.All in all, the experience was superb all round, and I will definitely be visiting again!”

“Last night my wife and I celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary by holding a dinner party for 30 of our family and friends at The Filby Bridge Restaurant. It’s hard to express what a fantastic and memorable evening it was. Tony and his staff, some of which are his family went out of their way to make the evening a great success. The food can only be described as delicious, beautifully cooked and wonderfully presented. I unreservedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a lovely venue to celebrate a special event or just for a lovely meal.Thank you to Tony and his team.”

“Small but interesting brewpub in the hinterland of Great Yarmouth. The small brewery is behind the pub, I managed to take a quick glimpse into it. The pub itself is sparse but functional, most punters will take their seats at the bar. Welcoming staff, and a good selection of house and guest ales and ciders on tap. Most of them low ABV, at very moderate prices (below or around UKP 4). There's no beer garden available, just a few bench seats out in front of the pub. Simple, functional, popular with the locals, and almost unknown to tourists. I had a pint of "Tombstone Hopalong" Pale Ale (4%). It was solid. Not outstanding, but solid. Nibbles available by the bar. Recommended.”

The food in here is some of the best Indian restaurant food I've ever had,and I'm from the Midlands and been eating it for over 40 years lol. “Nice cold pint on a warm day. We sat out the front which was a little loud because of the busy road but as we were only staying for the one it didn’t bother us. Good spot to watch the ducks in the pond opposite.”
