Last night my wife and I celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary by holding a dinner party for 30 of our family and friends at The Filby Bridge Restaurant. It’s hard to express what a fantastic and memorable evening it was. Tony and his staff, some of which are his family went out of their way to make the evening a great success. The food was very good, only negative was the sherry trifle was a lot stronger than expected but still very enjoyable. Service was polite and nice just at the end I had to get up and request the bill but nothing to be disappointed by. The location is great and the view looking over the lake is amazing.
Filby Bridge restaurant is first rate. An| extensive tasty menu with many rare dishes. We went for a celebratory meal and were not disappointed. Starters were a Prawn and Crab stack and Scallops and bacon on Black Pudding, Both were excellent. Mains were Lemon Sole with Lobster pieces in a Cheese Sauce - there was a generous portion of lobster.
