British Restaurants in Great Yarmouth

“Last night my wife and I celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary by holding a dinner party for 30 of our family and friends at The Filby Bridge Restaurant. It’s hard to express what a fantastic and memorable evening it was. Tony and his staff, some of which are his family went out of their way to make the evening a great success. The food can only be described as delicious, beautifully cooked and wonderfully presented. I unreservedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a lovely venue to celebrate a special event or just for a lovely meal.Thank you to Tony and his team.”

“This is a lovely Greek restaurant with a wide variety of meals, including vegan choices, yay! They are obviously busy and run a variety of special 'nights'. All the staff were accommodating, but our star server was Soulla. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She offered me a second choice of vegan dish which was delicious. Worth a visit, definitely. Parking is free (after 6pm if I remember correctly) in a large car park about 5 mins away. A gem of a restaurant in a bit of an iffy town centre.”

“Gorgeous lunch on The Terrace. Sun shining overlooking the sea. Perfect. My daughters birthday, restaurant put up a banner and some sprinkles on the table which was lovely. Food was amazing and service excellent. Cocktails were flowing. Altogether a lovely time. Can definitely recommend The Terrace. Thank you”

“Really nice restaurant, allows dogs in the outside seating. Nice to have a vegan option that was similar to regular food. Huge portions. Lovely to sit and watch the ferris wheel and slingshot.”

“A coeliac haven - all fish available gluten free, which means CHOICE!! I have tried most of the menu and although I love the classic cod and chips (and I find their portions spot-on at a regular for one) the battered halloumi and onion rings are firm favourites! Can’t believe they’re gluten free, the batter is incredible. They also have gluten free vinegar behind the counter if you ask for it.Completely dog friendly too, both the takeaway section and the restaurant.I prefer takeaway and sitting by the beach, but the restaurant is nice to sit in too, especially when it’s chillier. There’s a toilet at the back which is always clean and well looked after. As a coeliac, I travel specially here for fish and chips, and it’s my favourite safe place to eat in Great Yarmouth.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options”
