After walking in the pouring rain for what seemed like hours and looking at places on the seafront for dinner, we decided on coming in at Planet Popadum. Very average food. The food was OK but no better than you could get at a cheap takeaway, the service was what you'd expect from Indian culture, very pleasant, with nice decorations throughout and attentive waiters. However the food is very average, sometimes burnt, and for Indian food, quite bland in flavour. My seafood cocktail was the best but we also had the lamb biriani, bindi bahjee, sag aloo and a couple of naan breads which were all very nice. Service was excellent and the waitress and manager were very friendly.
