There's nothing quite as sad as going in a beautiful, characterful little freehouse boozer (which this certainly is) and seeing a row of hand pumps that are all out of action. Had high hopes for some decent cask beers but had to settle for Guinness. That said, this really is a nice, chilled little (although certainly larger than the outside would suggest) place despite that disappointment.

A good friendly pub that I visited with friends on a Tuesday where there was an open pool table, pleasant bar staff and a great atmosphere where we all enjoyed ourselves from mid afternoon until evening, thanks ?
