Food was superb, really friendly staff. The outside area is fantastic. Can't wait to try more of the menu.

Lovely small town pub, the sole pub owned and run by the nearby (Diss) Ampersand Brewery. Extensive selection of there beers (2 cask, 6/7 Keg) music playing but not too intrusive, lovely young girl behind the bar, chatted to a couple of friendly regulars. Music nights here advertised too. Had a lovely pint of Gybe (3.9 session cask ale) at lunchtime. I will be back without a doubt…

Had a lovely meal on Monday night. The staff are very welcoming and understanding (we have Autistic twins who can be a little loud at times). The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Highly recommend.

Driving to the coast, we saw the sign to follow the giant chicken, and thought to stop off.
Pot of tea was great, sausage batches delicious and the chips the star of the show.
Definitely recommend for breakfast or lunch stop.

Absolutely lovely country pub on archetypal village Green. We visited for Sunday lunch. Huge portions of well cooked food. The steak and ale pie was fabulous with perfect short pastry and rich gravy. If you manage to have space for dessert be prepared for more huge portions. The interior was spacious with comfy chairs and roaring fires. Dogs welcome. Friendly staff. Recommended.

We were staying in Wortwell and didn’t want to eat out, so ordered pizza online. It came few minutes early from a nice friendly delivery man, was hot and tasty..
No it’s not like wood fired oven pizza but it didn’t disappoint and they got the order correct-lots of choice of sauce base & toppings..what more can you ask for.
