The Royal Oak Laxfield
The, High St, Laxfield, WoodbridgeProper friendly relaxed local's pub that gives a warm welcome to visitors from staff and locals. I've stayed in the village for a few months and have been very much welcomed in the Royal.Well kept ale, 3 regular pumps and a guest that changes one barrel at a time. Roaring open fire in the winter.Food is great, homely well cooked and reasonably priced.Fresh fish and chips on a Friday including takeaway. Great steaks and burgers, steak specials on Thursday. Children's menu too.Pool, darts and outside seating.Occasional special events and music, certainly worth a visit. Open every day.... Early until late. Cracking atmosphere ...... The kind of place you really want as your local.
