Had Sunday Lunch today. The food was very good, beef cooked just right, nice & tender, the roast potatoes were lovely but, there was a lack of vegetables, just a few slices of carrot and a huge florets of broccoli, that took over half the plate !! We would of had dessert but was not offered any, so not sure if they even do dessert. Have just returned here from a lunch visit with friends.. there was a large party of us, 16 in total, and all I can say is we’ll definitely be back!!! I’ll most definitely revisit with family too!! The food was absolutely wonderful, I had the chicken, ham & leek pie with mash & veg, it was so tasty & filling & certainly worth the price. Dropped in as on holiday in the area, very welcoming staff , very dog friendly and fetched my puppy a bowl of water, food was very good, portion size quite big, had gammon egg and chips, would highly recommend ?
