This was the first time we had visited The Railway Arms for a meal and I have to say it exceeded my expectations on several counts. The dining room itself was lovely, full of natural light and very comfortable. Our meals were exceptional. I had the roast beef which was perfectly cooked medium-rare as I like it and very tasty. We have eaten here a few times now and have never been disappointed. A lovely venue with a warm local pub atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. Portion sizes are very generous and good value. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Great meal at reasonable prices, friendly staff. One thing that irked us that they charged 50p for milk for a cup of tea, surely milk goes with a cup of tea unless you request otherwise, it would make sense if they just charged £2 for a cup of tea with milk instead of £1.50 + 50p for the milk!
