A proper pub! A great place to have a drink and catch up with an old friend.The service was friendly although it was too quiet to gauge the atmosphere.There are great gardens and a play area.
Was going to book the Maids Head for an event venue, but was just slightly out of our budget. It is such a lovely venue though and staff were really nice when I went to look around. Hopefully in the future I will able to make a booking :)

Didn't eat food, so can't comment. First ever visit to this pub for a live music gig on Saturday. Great atmosphere, amazing wall of fascinating rock posters. Good drinks from the bar. Friendly staff and locals. A wooden dance floor area was a real bonus. Brilliant, fun night with the talented Glamtastics. We'll certainly go to this great venue again.
