Several times we have enquired whether the pub is serving food and have been told No because Paula is ill. On one occasion they said “No we are not serving food today as Paula has diarrhoea and cannot be near food” it was a bit too much information but even so maybe a relief chef would allow consistency. We went another time as a big group of 8 and table was booked for 7:30 but didn’t actually sit down until 8:30 and we had children. When food was served coleslaw was missing...read full review
Quite simple Dave I pressed incorrect button, food was superb, atmosphere great, draught beer very good, only disappointing point I usually only drink New Zealand wine, l prefer Marlborough wine, we live approximately 20 miles away and as family members are moving into Southburgh village we will definitely be coming back. Visited this afternoon on our holiday with our twin girls and two dogs! Very friendly service and welcomed us all.Shame it was quiet for Easter weekend, but worked a great for us as the girls and dogs could play in the garden completely free. Imagine this place could be amazing in the summer especially!
