Proper traditional cafe serving everything from giant breakfasts to Sunday roasts. Pie and mash Saturdays last Saturday of every month too. With free spotted dick and custard thrown in. Also lovely staff and good music. What more could you want?
Our main meal was presented piping hot, absolutely delicious and included five fresh vegetables. There was a choice of homemade desserts, again, delicious. We finished with a complementary drink. The owner came over to chat and find out if we were happy with everything, he was very friendly and eager to please. We would certainly recommend this cafe to anyone.

Being a cockney I just love the pie and mash, but I cannot find fault at this wonderful place. I also enjoy the breakfasts and Sunday lunches. The staff are great and so helpful. Well done to Al and all his team for the excellent service. 10/10
