Camping nearby and after a walk my wife and I called at the Bay. Was met by a friendly was bar maid and 2 Taylors ales. I tried the Landlord and it was excellent. The pub itself is really nice and the locals were friendly. Will be returning.

The owner of nearby B&B suggested me this pub for dinner, as only option to have a dinner in this village on Sunday. The pub was a bit crowded (as expected for Sunday evening), but there was no problem to find free table. When waiter bring me the menu, there was with him also a chef, who said that they just run off the lamb, but that he can prepare fresh beef with sides. Really enjoyed our food here over the Bank Holiday weekend. We wanted a pub walkable from our Airbnb cottage and found this place. Its not posh , and isn't trying to be anything other than an honest little local . I had the fish pie and it was just so tasty and full of fish in a lovely sauce . The young lady who served us was just delightful and the beer was good .
