So glad we found this place for Sunday lunch. This is a cosy, traditional establishment with friendly staff and excellent food. The Sunday menu is limited to either small or large roast dinners (beef, turkey or ham) with a good choice of starters and desserts. I opted for a small roast beef which came with Yorkshire pudding, roast and mashed potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and mashed swede with lots of lovely gravy and it was enormous! Popped in on a Wednesday afternoon and unfortunately they weren’t serving food due to chef calling in sick. Got food elsewhere and then popped back for couple of drinks. Cute, village pub with pleasant staff. If weather had been warmer would definitely have taken advantage of the beer garden. Can’t comment on food but prices reasonable on drinks

Popped in today on the way through Stokesley for Sunday dinner, hadn't booked but wasn't a problem as the waitress quickly found us a table, food was lovely and service was excellent the waitress who served us (Faye I think she said her name was) couldn't have been more attentive and welcoming, would definitely revisit but would book in future as it did get quite busy.
