We went for my pre-birthday meal and it was so refreshing to have a menu that my partner and I didn’t have to choose from a limited vegetarian menu as it is all vegan! Don’t be toxic and think that’s a bad thing our friend came and he really enjoyed his meal even though he wasn’t a veggie. The service was impeccable, really friendly and attentive staff. They were fast without being rushed and super nice without being interruptive of our meal. I had the WTF (what the focaccia) burger with fries and both were to die for, such big portions I was full to bursting. My partner had the Chili dog and he was thrilled as veggie hot dogs are to come by these days! The chocolate milkshake was FANTASTIC! I’m a big enthusiast of a shake and it was sooo good! It’s also dog friendly which is always a big bonus and they loved our little Fred and even he was catered to with treats and water. We will most certainly be back and they made the day before my birthday a great success! Great job from all the team!

The Blackwell Ox Inn and Holiday Lodge Park
Carlton in Cleveland, StokesleyOne of my all time favourite pubs. It's traditionally British that features Thai cuisine, which works surprisingly well.
Been to this place many times, and still end up going back time and time again.
Menu has lots of customizable options for many of its dishes.
My new favourite is the battered king prawns and red curry, which is incredibly delicious.
Service is really good as ever, and the prices are reasonable. Good selection of beers on tap. Quality of the food overall is amazing.
Always worth a visit.

Springfield, Stokesley, MiddlesbroughRestaurant week went on Thursday Starter bellypork and peppercorn sauce. Main gammon chunky chips and 2 fried eggs. Plenty of food. Had to take dessert home sticky toffee pud as far too full after 2 courses. Worth a trip

Flavours absolutely amazing on all dishes and we had a mix of spice plates in our group from and 3year old fussy toddler to a Korean heat lover!
The kids menu caters for a typical fussy child which is great but wanted my little one to have an experience so ordered an egg fried rice (LO actually prefers my fragrant rice after eating half hers) then she picked and tried out meals.
Staff brought out the LO meal straight away which was great. Portions were big enough to fill but not to excess and with a lot of waste. Happy ballies all round!

Bexter's Tea Room

Whitby goth weekend i stay over for Monday to visit my friends near Stocksley, we like to visit the charity shops and always pop into to bexters for a tostie and tea. The staff are so lovely and friendly and the food isn't to bad either, always a pleasure ?

After three attempts we were successful after this I knew the rest of our evening was going to be perfect, food was out of this world we had a three course meal and prices were reasonable the staff were very attentive chatted to all customers I literally have no faults kudos keep up the good work x

The Spread Eagle has that proper old-school feel that’s getting harder to find — warm atmosphere, well-kept beer, and a beer garden that’s one of the best in town. Staff are on the ball and the place always feels alive without being rowdy. A great spot for a quiet pint or a few with mates after work.

It serves a limited menu of sandwiches and hot dishes including a special board.
It is good value food in a basic eat in cafe environment. ( It also sells takeaway meals ).Its right for where it is and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

Milk and Grind
18 High St, Stokesley, MiddlesbroughGoogled for a nice cafe after a long walk up clay bank, and was more than happy with my visit to milk & grind. The staff were really lovely and smiley and you could tell they enjoyed working together. I ordered a latte and a coffee and walnut cake, they were both delicious. It was a very chilled environment with a variety of customers and furry friends, each of them welcomed in with the same warmth and kindness from every members of staff. A gorgeous little cafe, I will visit again soon!

The Buck Inn
Chop Gate, MiddlesbroughStopped in for a quick coffee whilst out for a ride on the moors. Very genial host, great coffee & beautiful views and surrounding countryside. Will definitely be stopping in whenever I'm passing. Good to see motorcycle parking in front of the pub too! Thank you Wolfgang :)
