For the best fish and chips in York, get yourselves to Millers ?We went to their OG restaurant / takeaway in Haxby to try some of their menu and we were so impressed, everything was super high quality and cooked to perfection.?? Excellent fish and chips in Haxby, north of York. Only had take away and usually a wait despite ordering online. Like that they have smaller portions for the elderly/children. Limited parking.

This was hands down the best fish n chips we’ve ever had. The place is spotless the service is excellent and the food was just amazing thick perfectly cooked cod and the batter was light and exceptional and the homemade tartare ?. My friend had Haddock which was also exceptional! Sam the server was polite kind and on his game thank you for a real holiday treat if we lived nearer we’d be here ever week but Oxford is a bit far to come ? can’t recommend highly enough
