We visited with some friends yesterday and ordered a feast, we’re already wanting to go back asap! Not only were the portion sizes HUGGGGEEE but the food was top tier too! ?We shared - Salt n’ Pepper Ribs? Satay Chicken ⭐️? Prawn Crackers? Crispy Chilli Beef? Bobo Chicken ⭐️? Char Sui Pork Salt n’ Pepper Chips? Egg Noodles? Egg Fried RiceWe don’t really have a bad thing to say about any of the dishes, but the stand out dishes had to be the satay chicken and the Bobo chicken. They both had so so much flavour and a nice kick! It was unreal ?

52 The Village, Haxby, YorkWe needed a venue for a family afternoon buffet and the Red Lion provided us with great food and drinks. Fantastic little pub. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Will go back to try their Sunday lunch. Thanks to Ian and the team.

55 The Village, Haxby, YorkThis was hands down the best fish n chips we’ve ever had. The place is spotless the service is excellent and the food was just amazing thick perfectly cooked cod and the batter was light and exceptional and the homemade tartare ?. My friend had Haddock which was also exceptional! Sam the server was polite kind and on his game thank you for a real holiday treat if we lived nearer we’d be here ever week but Oxford is a bit far to come ? can’t recommend highly enough

The Cottage Inn, 115 The Village, YorkWe had a good meal. Food was well cooked and served. The menu was limited but okay for our requirements. A good effort was made to cater for gluten free. And they stocked 0° Ghost Ship!
