64 The Village, Haxby, YorkWe celebrated a birthday with takeaway food, as the restaurant was fully booked. Extensive menu. We chose prawn toast, spring rolls and duck for starters. All spot on. There were 10 of us and we all chose something different for our main courses so we could all have a taste of everything. I highly recommend Paddy Fields and will definitely return.

8, Haxby Shopping Centre, Haxby, YorkWe had such a lovely morning here! Saturday morning- crazy busy, but lovely Sue was smiling away and we were warmly greeted and seated really fast! The coffee was good, the sausage sandwich was great- everything locally sourced which I appreciated. We took brownies away with us because they looked so good and we just really enjoyed our experienced! Sue and the team were so warm and kind and that really topped it all off- would highly recommend!

Millers Fish & Chips
55 The Village, Haxby, YorkBusy bustling fish n chips shop, was amazed how many delivery lads on mountain bikes were delivering. The fish was lovely and a good size, chips good and, peas n curry. Definitely worth a visit, you will not be disappointed!

The Tiger Inn
29 The Village, YorkFirst time in the tiger since the new land lord came. me and my son Mark enjoy 4 pints each, we walked both ways no driving a I live in the village. Nice chap work in progress, no meals as yet but will be in the new-year. I will be going back.

The Cottage Inn, 115 The Village, YorkJust had a lovely meal tonight with my friend. We were greeted by the owner, very cheerful and friendly, we signed in the car and chatted while we got our drinks. Then grabbed our menus and a table.
The food was really lovely, great quality ingredients, served piping hot and plated up lovely. The battered pigs in blankets were amazing, great starter that we shared. Then we opted for a hot lips parmo and a lasagne. Both were very tasty, plated up nicely and tasted great.
We will definitely be back ❤️
