“A fabulous Sunday carvery in the middle of Filey. Food was brilliant, lots of vegetables choice and meat was cooked superbly. Definitely would go again.”

“This pub is attached to the caravan site. There's nothing else nearby, so unless you're prepared to travel.......
It's not ac'wet' pub, preferring to open 4pm until 8pm (later, if busy). To be honest, we found the beer didn't taste 'clean', it had quite a twang to it. I suppose that's to be expected, with it not selling a lot, but at today's prices, I want a good, well kept pint! Because of this, we didn't have food here.”

“Timeless kind of place. If you want shallow and glitzy, this is not the venue for you. Atmospheric without trying, superb well kept beers. You either get this place or you don't, and if you don't then you just don't get what makes the heart of a good pub, and you probably don't have a pulse. My wife and I called in one lunchtime, only three other people in, but that doesn't matter because it's a great pub and always will be.”
