In the last few years every time we went for an Italian (Ask, Prezzo... Pizza Express...)we walked away feeling ripped off and unhappy... We resented paying 15-18 quid for some boiled pasta and whatever ready made Italian sauce they slapped on... that's why we were vary of trying San Marco's when we came accross it. Visited for early bird on a Friday evening. Warm welcome, very friendly. We all had pizzas and they were perfect. Quite quiet but can see it being busier in the summer months. Definitely

Not a good night, Starters, waitress forgot the olives, main course vegetables overcooked in the microwave, asked for a coke drink, a tin of coca cola was brought to the table and just plonked on the table, shouted after the waitress for a glass which was also plonked on the table. Had to ask for dessert menu and when my husband ordered off the specials she said there was none left, why did she not tell us before ordering. Will not be going back ever again.
