Amazing pub in fact the best I’ve been to in a long while. Beautiful location and equally as beautiful inside. Lovely beer garden overlooking Stainforth Beck. The sound of the fast running water is amazing. Great selection of quality ale, the decor as full of character and charm and the landlord is very pleasant and friendly. I will be returning to try the food. Beef dripping fish and chips served here and it sound delicious. Very much looking forward to going back to try it....read full review

Visited for breakfast this morning, Amazing food, best breakfast we’ve had in a long time! The lady who served us was lovely, we walked up with the dog and didn’t realise they aren’t aloud in the pub but we was able to sit in the beer garden with him ☺️

Came for a few drinks and a bite to eat after walking up Pen-y-ghent and were blown away by the warm, friendly, and generous welcome we received. Food was delicious but we will definitely be back for the service most of all. A welcome family run pub.
