“Beautiful pub, the setting itself has beautiful views. Inside, it's like you're in a time capsule. Every where you look, there is items/objects that there are stories behind. The really fire was lite, giving the bar a nostalgic setting for people my age.Food was quick and perfect cooked. I really enjoyed my time here, and I had my first taste of pale ale from a hand pulled pump. Think I'm a convert. Can't wait to visit again.”

“Amazing ale! Many local brews, all pulled from wooden barrels, that the landlord painstakingly makes by hand.Friendly, helpful staff. I would describe the landlord as a bit of a character (he refuses to offer drinks in half-pint glasses, only pints!). I liked him, although, according to some reviewers, he appears to rub some people up the wrong way! :-)Limited lunch menu, when we visited: just three curry options. We had the chicken curry. Homemade, good size portion and tasted excellent!We'll definitely be going back.”
