Thank you to Dan and his team for hosting my 60th birthday meal last Saturday evening. The food and service, as always, was great. All my guests really enjoyed the warm welcome and cosy atmosphere. Everybody really enjoyed the food with the steak pie, being a particular hit!It was an evening to remember and we look forward to returning soon.
Excellent pub serving a wide range of food covering all dietary requirements. We ordered vegan food and they noticed we had ordered the none vegan mash. Quite rightly they checked to see if it was a mistake (it was). Excellent service and good attention to detail. Wednesday is quiz night which was well run and good fun. Each week night they do a special which is good value, Wednesday was pie and a pint for £15

Real Yorkshire hospitality, and this is from a Lancastrian. We stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. Dan, Dave and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. The adapted room was excellent, well designed, spacious and clean. Food was great value pud grub, good quality ingredients and cooked perfectly, as was breakfast. This was our third stay and we look forward to returning.Rooms: Spacious, well decorated, comfortable and clean.
