The Corner House Cafe
1 Garrs Ln, Grassington, SkiptonStopped here for a drink and cake during a walk. Lovely little café with delicious hot chocolate (the luxury option, with cream, marshmallows, maltesers and chocolate sauce was pricey but fantastic!) and a nice selection of cakes.

Retreat Tearoom & Bistro
The Retreat, Main St, Grassington, SkiptonWe have just been in this gorgeous cafe this afternoon, we asked if we could take away, this was no problem, the lovely gentleman who served us invited to fetch our dogs in, but we had just been for a very wet, muddy walk and wouldn't want to mess the cafe up.. he could not have been any nicer, we ordered Parsnip and apple soup and sandwiches and coffee, everything was absolutely delicious, we will most definitely be back, thank you so much ?

Wharfe View Tea Room
The Green, BurnsallI have reviewed this Tea Room before for the food but it really is so good it needs a second stab! Today I stopped off for some toast and a cuppa and then had a migraine during the meal. ( I lose my sight in a migraine so can't do much until it wears off.) The staff were so helpful and caring as i gradually recovered. The (cinamon) toast and tea were excellent as usual but it was the way they looked after me that really touched me. Thankyou so much!

Craven Arms Pub & Cruck Barn
The Craven Arms, Appletreewick, SkiptonI have been to this pub twice. Both times have been excellent. I’ve ordered the sausage and mash and it was great. Portion size is perfect. The menu is great with many many great options. I was served my food within 20 minutes of arriving. The seating arrangement is very good with it being warm in all places. Absolutely amazing and I wish to come back here soon.

The Fish Shop
6 Garrs Ln, Grassington, SkiptonA really cute fish shop. We ordered some fish and chips to go. Every piece was freshly made as I saw the staff member dip each cod piece into the batter. We also sampled some curry sauce. If you are in the area, I would check them out. Decent hearty fish and chips in a pleasant village in the Yorkshire Dales.

Rozis Tandoori
10 Main St, Grassington, SkiptonReally tasty and authentic Indian food. Really enjoyed my prawn curry and the chappatis were fresh and delicious. Quite expensive for a takeaway but the food is good. Lots of veg and onions and good flavours. Friendly staff and clean environment. Cash only but there is a cash point nearby. You can eat in if you like. I would recommend. Beautiful village location.

Riverbank Burnsall
Village Green, Burnsall, SkiptonJust a lovely friendly little cafe serving excellent coffee and a good choice of sandwiches from 'posh' bacon, vegetarian and vegan, as well as warm sausage rolls and a good selection of delicous looking homemade cakes! I am coeliac and pescatarian so I had the vegetarian sandwich served with a very nice gluten free roll - and a coffee with oat milk! They are very good on their choices for people with allergens and other dietry requirements, but they don't always have everything in stock esp after a busy weekend! (No gluten free bread on the Saturday or Sunday of the BH weekend!) But an excellent place to stop, with both indoor and outdoor seating! And of course with a beautiful view across the River Wharfe!

The Gamekeeper's Inn
Long Ashes Park, Threshfield, SkiptonI have given 5 stars because we have been here on a number of occasions whilst staying on the nearby camping site. The restaurant, staff and atmosphere are second to none but on this particularly evening we decided to try the Tapas as it was a Tapas Evening. Whilst the food was really good we expected the choice of crusty bread would be a few slices of French Stick which is what you would get in Spain but it was two seeded buns. Not sufficient really or great value for that choice. The patatas Bravas was more like chips with a mild spicy sauce which was slightly disappointing. Overall though would highly recommend.

The New Inn
Appletreewick, SkiptonAbsolutely immense Sunday roast here today for Mother’s Day! The food was delicious, beautifully presented on large serving platters, lovely staff and drinks. And topped off with the most glorious sunshine and views…oh and some lovely individually wrapped biscuits made by one of the customers to celebrate the occasion! Would highly recommend ☺️
