The Retreat, Main St, Grassington, SkiptonExcellent venue for a nice lunch. The food is really tasty and fresh. There are plenty of choices of gluten-free and vegetarian food on the menu. The homemade vegetable soup, bacon ciabatta, and the sweet potato fries with thyme were all delicious ?Parking: The easiest place to park is at Grassington National Park Visitor Centre, about a 5 minute stroll from the Retreat. Pay and display.

The Craven Arms, Appletreewick, SkiptonThe best pub in England. I love everything about this place. The pie is the best pie I've ever had. I love the decoration, the fire, the beers, the staff. I'd go every day if I could.

Wharfe View Tea Room
The Green, BurnsallI have arrived at Wharfe view tea rooms after reserving a table for 7 yesterday. Unfortunately, we were unable to enter as we had a wheelchair and was unaware that there was no wheelchair access. With that being said, the staff at Wharfe view tea rooms was beyond hospitable. They carried multiple drinks out to the mini bus and helped us as much as they possibly could despite being busy. Highly recommended by the residents and staff at Spellman care.

The Cake House Grassington
51 Main St, Grassington, SkiptonBeautiful cafe that's well worth the visit. Friendly service, nice coffee and cheesy scone, what else could you ask for. Cakes and menu looked very tempting as well. I also bought artisan selection of chutneys in small produce shop area by the counter. Will definitely repeat the visit next time. Recommended!

On another occasion however, it was very busy, staff flustered, slow service.Fast or slow great grub. ?Nearby activities: On a busy walking route.Walkability: Handy for rest of village.Food & drinks: The food and drinks were very good although a little expensive.

Lots of veg and onions and good flavours. Friendly staff and clean environment. Cash only but there is a cash point nearby. You can eat in if you like. I would recommend. Beautiful village location.

The Gamekeeper's Inn
Long Ashes Park, Threshfield, SkiptonReal Yorkshire hospitality, and this is from a Lancastrian. We stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. Dan, Dave and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. The adapted room was excellent, well designed, spacious and clean. Food was great value pud grub, good quality ingredients and cooked perfectly, as was breakfast. This was our third stay and we look forward to returning.Rooms: Spacious, well decorated, comfortable and clean.

The Fish Shop
6 Garrs Ln, Grassington, SkiptonVisited here last Saturday 17/2/24, lovely little fish & chip shop, ordered Fish chips and mushy peas was cooked fresh and only waited 5 minutes, was chatting to the guy serving me who happened to be the owner lovely guy, really friendly and polite, food was lovely with a really generous portion!

Appletreewick, SkiptonWe had a lovely couple of days in this pub the room was lovely, comfortable bed clean, the room was so warm.Didn't try any food as it was my sons wedding so we were well fed,the landlady was so helpful and couldn't fault the whole experience highly recomend it
