Popped in on the off chance (without booking) and were promptly seated next to the big lovely range / fire. The food was MEGA! I had steak and ale pie and my wife had the Gammon, both 10/10. The beer I had, a local brew was spot on too. Brilliant pub, friendly staff - will be back.
The best pub experience I’ve ever had. I have been two weekends in a row and can’t fault anything. The food is homemade and amazing. Large portions. Drinks are great. Service is fantastic, welcoming and friendly and can’t do enough to help you. The large barn conversion at the back is impressive. The best pub in England. I love everything about this place. The pie is the best pie I've ever had. I love the decoration, the fire, the beers, the staff. I'd go every day if I could.
