We were the only diners but we were early diner's.Atmosphere and ambiance were a bit lacking.Service was speedy.I was a bit disappointed with my veggie dish but my husband liked his.Vegetarian options: Long list of vegetarian dishes. My vegetable madras was nicely spiced but mixture of vegetables was disappointing.
Not fine dinning more a cafe style restaurant but don't let that put you off as the food was delicious, nice and spicy and the chicken was cooked to perfection, no licence so take your own,

Dropped in here last night for the first time, not sure why I've never been before, Ali (the owner) is a gent and well known in Knaresborough having had this restaurant for over 20 years I believe... We had an pint of Malaga lager from Six Poor Folk just across the road ( no Alcohol available ) The food was great, really tasty and importantly great value, will be back again soon to support the Dil Raj as they have done for Knaresborough for many years...
