A lovely, traditional pub with a limited but well curated selection of ales plus the usual line up of keg beers, lagers and ciders.A traditional ‘pub grub’ menu of food is on offer with the old favourites we’ll presented in generous portions.We enjoyed the charity bingo on Friday, it was light hearted, great fun and raised a tidy sum for charity.The new, young and enthusiastic landlords, Chloe and Andrea are so warm, friendly and welcoming.I recommend that you call in, whatever...read full review

We don’t go into the Castle very often and I’m always surprised at how quiet it seems to be. It is a splendidly cosy pub and it is kept gleamingly clean. Service was friendly and our beers very good. Really should visit more often.

The atmosphere was great, nice and cosy little pub with friendly staff. Food was absolutely disgusting, we were the only people there at first and the only people getting food.. somehow the chips were still burnt and the peas were flat cold as if they hadn't been cooked.Won't be ordering food again
