Reviews for Ripley Castle Tea Room
Sunday lunch after artisan market. Shared scone and cream with my wife before we each had a large yorkshire pudding with sausages and onion gravy. Too much for my wife so I got extra. Delicious food, reasonably priced for a tourist destination and staff were older/experienced hands, above average, dealing with impatient queuing customers and those muttering about dogs with reasonable diplomacy.
Lovely place, quite expensive for what it is, although the food was nice.I had a tea and giant yorskshire pudding filled with sausages and onion gravy. Generous portion and cost £12 plus £2.50 for the tea.Paninis were £9.50 which seems very overpriced. We come from London and its cheaper to get one there!Good service from Louis and lovely location.

Ordered a simple scrambled egg on bap. Received very greasy fried egg on a very unremarkable cheap bap. Shame as the setting is great and good atmosphere. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong thing. My wife had a scone which was very average compared to the "famous" label they have it.Parking: Park on the main road if not too busy as it's free. But be aware Ripley can get very busy but they have plenty of paid parking at the end of the village.
