We turned up very damp after a long walk with two small dogs. It was mid week and midday, so quiet. We were greeted by a warm, clean, friendly environment. The hospitality from Geoff was outstanding and good chat about the rugby. We ordered drinks and a sandwich each. Well what a sandwich, I donāt think I have ever seen one like it. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband had lamb shank and I had steak and ale pie, some of the best food we have had in a long time .
Very friendly welcome. Lovely bar/restaurant area and the twin room was very nice. Food was excellent ( I had probably the best āsteak and ale pieā Iāve ever had). Kimberley was an excellent host, very friendly and always smiling. Canāt wait to come back in February
