British • “We stayed a single night and would absolutely go back. It felt almost as if you were staying in the home of a wealthy land owner from a Jane Austen novel. Room was great and spotlessly clean. Staff were excellent, welcoming and professional.

“This place came up on Google as the nearest eatery, when we decided to get off the M1 at Knaresborough for a pitstop. What a find! The food was delicious, Inc the rhubarb & ginger scone and the staff/service were excellent.”

“They serve a great pint. Staff friendly and looked happy in their work. Great seats outside the front of the pub where we sat watching the world go by with our lovely cold beers. Reasonable prices. Recommended”

“Thoroughly enjoyed a sausage bap with brown sauce and a pot of tea on Thursday . Lovely owners who have decorated the inside with a lot of 60's and 70's memorabilia . Like a throwback to great times ! A very enjoyable breakfast ! ?”

“Really cute little cafe and nicely decorated with an autumn theme. The coffee was delicious and the staff were so friendly. The only downside was that it was a little cramped and gets quite busy for how small it is but if you don’t mind being in close quarters with people then I’d highly recommend!”
