Fantastic food, initially told I'd have to wait an hour for food, despite being on my own. Thank the food gods I stayed a half hour. The best Sausage & Mash ( with black pudding & onion rings). I've ever had. The gravy was superb.
Lovely place, we sat in the spacious beer garden next to the river. The pub was busy but didn't feel cramped. Bar staff and Landlord very friendly. Good pint reasonable prices. Recommended

Lovely old style pub in a great setting. Had roast dinners and desserts and all food was incredible! Recommend booking as gets very busy. Great service too . Will definitely be back.
