“first time away from Newcastle on New Years Eve, stayed at the Village Inn nice place but quiet and was closing early. we had had lunch at the Crown and the folks were very nice so we decided to take a walk a long and wow what an amazing time we had. the locals made us feel so so welcome. we stayed and saw 2024 in with them . thank you to Helen her family the other folks and especially the owners of this pub for making our time with you so special.
