We enjoyed the 3 horse shoes. We had an early 6pm tea for 6people. I had rump stake others had fish and chips. . Is small but had a very local atmosphere and was made welcome. Beer was excellent with old peculiar, my favourite, but only had half pint as driving. Looking at wine offering, heart sank but when discussed they had others in back which was passable so everyone was happy. Lovely pub, nice atmosphere and the food was very good. The steak pie was home cooked. Very good portion size with lots of vegetables, chunky chips and tasty gravy.Definitely recommend.Parking: Reasonable sized car park

Fantastic place to visit especially while doing our circular walk. Sat outside in the sunshine eating our lunch, mid October, very unusual. Food was great as was the service, well worth a visit if in the area.
