Traditional pub in Leyburn. Good local beers, good roaring fire, very large TV for sport at one end of the lounge, dog friendly. Slightly deterred by the choice language from some locals on a Friday teatime, but did not put us off returning the next day for the leyburn jazz festival which was very good.Will go back when we return to this nice dales town.
Best pub in Leyburn and my husband reckons one of the best pints in the country!! We come here a few times a year when camping nearby. Friendly welcome, great atmosphere and well kept ales. Love it??

Visited this pub a couple of times last week. Locals pub but they are so friendly and welcoming best beer and prices in town. Proper pub with nice staff, pool table, dart board and a jukebox. Definetley will call in when im in the area.
