As a treat we decided to order take out, we ordered 2 curries, 1 rice, 1 onion baji, a side of potatoes and 1 Nan to share. The website menu had no prices but I was informed you get 10% discount for paying in cash and thought very good no problem. When ordering I asked how much the meal would be, but the phone went down with no response. The total price upon collection- after the discount was £47. The meal was enjoyable, but not outstanding- there seemed to be alot of sauce but not much meat in the curries. Overall we were quite disappointed with what we got for the price and won’t be rushing back.

Winner, winner, Chicken Tikka dinner. We were so happy to find a top-quality Bangladeshi/Indian restaurant that allows dogs. The manager and staff were so friendly and the food was excellent.

Great for a takeaway curry. Brilliant service. Curry is just as we asked and staff were so nice and kind.

Extensive menu. Lamb Jaflong was lovely. Enjoyed our kebabs too. Quite pricey compared to other curry houses but was probably worth it given Leyburn is quite rural and isolated. Would definitely visit again.

We are fairly regular customers at Saffron. This evening we had a takeaway - Hasina, Jaflong Special and Saag Paneeer. Absolutely delicious, couldn't fault it. Warm friendly service as usual and to top it off they have a special offer on a Thursday evening.

This restaurant serves really authentic food, cooked freshly and really good quality. The service was second to none, friendly with a warm atmosphere. The fact they have a space for people with dogs is just brilliant. Would recommend to anyone

We went for an evening meal. There is no menu displayed outside the restaurant but we have been to numerous Indian restaurants up and down the country so we thought we would have a good idea if the prices. The restaurant is upstairs , the decor was tired and seating is cramped. Only drink menu on the table so not aware of the exorbitant prices we were about to be charged..We selected and were served drinks before we were handed the main menu. The red wine tasted like watered down port. The meal was mediocre at best. Very overpriced. £15 + for a main course, £4.50 for rice and the same for a nan Twice what we pay in our home town. We expect something special for the money charged but we were didn't get it.

Got a take away. Used online menu to choose, good selection of choiceNo price quoted tho.No price given when on the phone ordering.10 minutes wait when collecting, place was very busy, still no signs of any prices.Food arrived at the counter and we are asked if paying cash for a 10% discount before we are told what the cost is.Overall the food was great the service is good as for atmosphere, I don't know.Just weird not knowing what it's going to cost before getting it
