Lovely cozy restaurant which was dog friendly. We booked for 8 of us and we’re out in the snug which we got to ourselves. Right next to the toilets which the dog loved as he got a fuss from everyone who walked past to get into them Food was really nice and staff really friendly. I can’t stand mint on lamb and asked if I could have the pressed lamb dish without this and they ended up giving me another gravy for it instead which was lovely. The food was absolutely delicious. Beautifully presented and all lovingly freshly prepared. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Excellent value for money considering the quality of the dishes. Restaurant was a little quiet but we were quite late to dine and out of season. I can imagine there is a real buzz in there when it is busier. Tastefully decorated in simple stylish rustic Yorkshire style. Highly recommend. The food was all excellent. Four of us all selected different dishes and they were all delicious. One member of our party had special dietary requirements & the staff were very knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful. Throughout the meal all members of the team were attentive & friendly. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. Could not fault it and will definitely return.
