Forgot to include my drinks which came with the family meal, immediately called them 3 times but they did not pick up. No one called to apologise as it could have been a genuine mistake, had my food without the drinks.
I visited the shop on Borough Road.This place hasn't changed much in over 20 years of me going there with friends as a student.You get what you pay for here, cheap and cheerful.Prices are very competitive, food is served pretty quickly and the meals are good.Parking is still fairly good, unlike Linthorpe road where the recent cycle lane has made it very awkward and off-putting. Well... I'm lost for words... the only word that comes to mind is "perfect" lol!Honestly, the burger and chips are just the best around.If I can criticise anything, it would be the chips; sometimes they are reheated, but 90% of the time they are freshly fried and served.You got to try it. They have perfected the flavours in their chicken and the taste is phenomenal.Anyway - that's my honest opinion. Hope it helps.
