Rude service from the two Asians walked in to order 2 fishcakes they replied they take a long time "which means that they don't want to cook it" then got told they were closing so left. Walked past the shop 20 mins later and they were still open and serving.Very poor service would not recommend.

Excellent fish and chips for me and lovely steak pie, chips and gravy for my husband. Takeaway. Reasonable price. Would use again if in the area.

Not sure what they're fried in but the Fish and chips were weirdly crispy - didn't taste of much and portion was modest. Mouth felt very greasy afterwards. Service was 'abrupt'.

Bought 2 fish and one teacake. The fish was tasteless ( frozen ?) and the bread was not fresh. Had to throw it away. The girl serving was indifferent - no smile, nothing. Would never frequent this place ever - even if I was starving !

Fish v battery and v unfriendly some foreign chap..Wouldn’t go back certainly didn’t amaze me go tothe crown Pub/Hotel they doa lovely Fish -He has a good opportunity his location on the high street t.Away fish& Chips but about as friendly as a windsock!!’Avoid!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our fish and chips today. All delicious and freshly cooked for us. No complaints. Will visit again (very soon).
Got fish & chips and a barm. Chips were average, fish was disgusting and the barm was stale. Defo wouldn't use again.....

Came to patleybridge for a walk and noticed the fish n chip shop was open so decided to get some, worst fish n chips I've had, fish was over done to the point of being dry along with the chips being far to over cooked, very disappointed especially for the price, won't be going again.
