Just had excellent f&c this evening. Portion size spot on, well cooked, good batter and good mushy peas. Reasonable price. Would definitely go again. Note their opening times as I didn't realise they close at 7pm some nights.
One of the very best Chippies in Yorkshire.....and they do Spam fritters for the more cosmopolitan clientele.It's immaculately clean and the staff are so polite, helpful and communicative.I prefer my chips slightly well done, hence they don't get 5 stars. More like 4.75.Great food.

Not sure what they're fried in but the Fish and chips were weirdly crispy - didn't taste of much and portion was modest. Mouth felt very greasy afterwards. Service was 'abrupt'.
