Pubs in Pickering

“We chose the Middleton arms after seeing pictures of the gammon steak on Facebook, unfortunately this was sold out on the evening we went along with a few other dishes on the menu. I ordered the potato skins starter which came as a large portion which I enjoyed followed by Whitby scampi, this was average with frozen scampi. My wife had garlic mushrooms for starter which was okay, for main she had steak pie which she said was very nice.”

“This is such a lovely local pub with a fabulous atmosphere. Sharon and Rob are so welcoming and friendly. They carry a large range of real ales which are kept well. They don't serve food but you are welcome to bring in a takeaway. It also has a large beer garden at the back.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's easy access at the side of the pub.”

“Lovely building, good host...didn't get full experience as we'd missed the fact that pub was closed and no food service in jan/Feb on the day we stayed, so no place to unwind after a days walking , only the bedroom.”
