I've been here several times with my family on a Sunday. The carvery is nice. The price is good and the food is satisfying. I don't know if it's the price of the food or the location but it seems to attract folk who look like they belong in a late night channel 5 documentary. People who look like they just won a trolley dash around a sports shop. People dressed like they've been asleep in their clothes, and people who look like they inhabit a planet under a far higher gravity...read full review

Went for a meal last night and it was exceptional. The staff were lovely. Cassie, our server, went above and beyond to make our dining experience as enjoyable as possible. We didn't feel rushed or like we overstayed our welcome, eventhough, we were there for over 2 and a half hours. Really enjoyed the evening and will definitely be returning soon.Food & drinks: The food was absolutely delicious would definitely recommend.

Visited the mermaid last week for a carvery with my family. The staff were very accommodating, the carvery tasted lovely with all fresh veg and the pizzas were such a high standard. We will definitely be back for another meal soon !
