We have just returned from a weeks celebrations at Rudby Hall for a Golden wedding Anniversary, four nights of which were catered for by Penleys Outside Catering. We called in on Mother's day and the place was packed. The service was understandingly a bit slow. But the home made food was delicious. Will be back, the staff and the ambience were cut above the rest. ??
Visited Penleys Café mid-afternoon, avoiding the lunchtime rush. Very relaxed atmosphere, felt homely with friendly, helpful staff.Great selection of food, but being "lunchtime" I went for a club sandwich and chips. Wow, what a meal that turned out to be. Finished off with a gorgeous home-made carrot cake. Absolutely delicious fare at a very reasonable price.I live some 50miles away but anytime I'm in this area this lovely cafe will be my top choice for refreshment. Well done...read full review
