Came here a few weeks back with our dog and baby, it has loveliest bar and snug area with a fire! We got a sunday roast and could not fault it at all, alongside the service! Every member of staff were friendly but our server in particular made us feel so welcome and was the nicest girl, also brought out treats for our dog and made a fuss of him! So nice, we aren’t from the area but we will definitely be back when we visit again even just for the atmosphere and service alone!...read full review

Popped in for a quick drink after work and couldn’t resist trying the food after seeing the menu. I ordered the Brie and cranberry starter, my husband ordered the Arancini. For Main I had King prawn linguine and my husband ordered the chicken supreme. Wow! Portion sizes very generous, great presentation and more importantly the food arrived hot and really delicious. Wonderful pub run by husband and wife team. Husband excellent chef, wife front of house. Good food, friendly informative staff. Tales of the supernatural included. Sadlyonly got until 18th December until change of management Definitely recommend
